If you get in touch with this guy, Sergey, his software will fix almost all of your problems. The other problems sound like an install issue, I struggled too, I'd recommend taking it back out and really checking every connection

As far as your backup camera mine was the same way, in the mirror. You either need to buy or make a harness to move the camera or install a separate camera on the rear to run to the unit. I didn’t want to crawl under my truck and do that so I paid an insane amount for a premade harness through camera source to move it from the mirror to the unit. I had posted a link earlier in here as to where I got the harness from. Here it is

For the wireless CarPlay I was having connect issues also. What fixed it was going to the zlink settings menu and turning off android auto…..it was on by default. Pic below of my zlink settings.
TPMS requires a separately purchased box on their website.
No one received bezel clips. You reuse the original ones.
Can’t speak to the rest of your problems since I’m not experiencing them.

Thanks everyone. I fixed the steering wheel controls (the connector was not on all the way) but the up and down selector are backwards. I tried the steering wheel mapping But it doesn’t do anything.

is it just my hands-free speaker that is bad?

I thought this unit was supposed to do all of these things, Did you just received the unit? I reading mixed comments here with regards to the OS some are over the moon with it and others like yourself are displeased or having to go to a 3rd party and pay more money to make it work.

That’s interesting other than the glitchy wireless carplay connection, which I had in my other 9” Seicane unit, mine has been working flawlessly good. It hasn’t reset itself at all, knock on wood lol, once. I expected issues with the wireless carplay as my other head unit never worked right so I only used the usb plug in method with that one, but also never bother to think the android setting might be interfering. The only settings I have changed was for the car logo to go away, got rid of the gauges on the home screen and hide the top bar. I wonder if something was changed that is causing your problem.

I retract my complaint, loose battery connection. Not sure how that happened as it was fine for months. I jumped to a conclusion because of new equipment instead of checking all possibilities before posting. My mistake.

There is one thing that annoys me. If you shift from reverse to d too quickly for it to register neutral it does something weird. I'm in drive, but it registers both R and D and keeps the backup camera on

Thats good to hear as for the other issue I always shift through the gears slowly and haven’t experienced that yet.

I also cannot seem to get my contacts to sync. Phonecalls show up as unavailable on the screen, but on my phone shows them no problem.

I had that same issue just yesterday. I could see everything through carplay but nothing through bluetooth. As soon as I disconnected carplay my phone reconnected to the unit through bluetooth and everything was there again. Weird how the different connections don’t allow or do allow certain functions but not others.

I can't say I'm sold on Android auto yet. I don't see the point really. All the same apps mostly, except I have to plug it in via cable, and that's slow charging. And since none of my contacts or messages are syncing it is pointless

I think you can only do one at a time. Once you connect to CarPlay it disconnects Bluetooth.

This is a known issue with all the units I’ve seen. Sergey did a mod in his firmware that adds a delay to the reverse camera. This prevents it from showing in autos when switching to park.

I tried messing with the delay feature, but frankly I'd rather deal with this than have my camera a second late

This is more of a user issue on my end. I’ll open up carplay then eventually something else that puts carplay in the background, sort of forgot about it, then open the phone app and realize when nothing is there that I still have carplay running. Takes a bit of getting use to as my other unit was so messed up nothing worked right, at least here if I remembered what I was running it wouldn’t be a problem at all lol.

I've read through this entire thread and I'm really liking the feedback, both from the manufacturer and Sergey. @arcenik and @Randys13taco have really done their best to help out as much as they can as well. looks like I have a new purchase to make, gotta be easier to install this vs building my own, which I've been contemplating for years now.
