I have seen those too, there is another one also.

I have seen a few more but they look like resellers. Someone will need to purchase to see if they are the same.

I think the unit will be the same but maybe the software is a little different?

    Interesting! Even cheaper.

Money is money, but I’m not sure about rolling the dice. Also seems difficult to choose the JBL option which I will have to do. They sure look similar on the back in the pictures I’ve seen…

I am looking for anyone that has got the XM radio built into the device. In the middle of Nevada, cell service dies. I need independent XM service.

These units do not have XM radio built into them, they do however support it through an app you can download. You would have to purchase an XM radio module or such and install it to get what your looking for.

I use an XM module and aux input. I have it installed in the glove box, but I don't switch channels a bunch.

Is this how you are doing it.

    Turn on iPhone hotspot
Open settings Wi-Fi on the headunit
Connect to your iPhone hotspot from the android head unit?

It should be like connecting to any other Wi-Fi as far as the radio knows it just another Wi-fi connection.

I’m not sure I can’t make hot spots. If there’s a way to download movies to the radio from Netflix I’d like to know.

Does your cell plan support making a hotspot? On my plan (Verizon) the ability to create a hotspot is an option, available for an additional $5 per month charge. I have that option on my phone, but not on my wife's phone. Does your phone work as a hotspot for your computer?

look up "mesh router" if you have a large(r) house and wifi is spotty in parts of your house, mesh routers are an easy win... if you're part of the "smart home" generation you can even get Google home assistants that act as mesh routers (they're basically repeaters, but you don't need to disconnect from one network to the next, it just keeps you connected automagically and will swap you to the stronger signal source)

If you're in a smart home or have multiple people in the house, with multiple devices, a mesh router is almost a necessity.

I've been having an issue with Siri going off randomly. It's very annoying and I've tried changing setting on my phone as well as the head unit itself. Anyone have some suggestions?

    Yes

@arcenik did this update https://drive.google.com/drive/folders/1-_J8eIGi8393tb_LWhLHSb9jo4oApK6l fix the black screen issue or was is only applicable to the crazy color screen issue ? Sergey is saying that he has seen my issue before but it is an MCU problem that he can not help me with. I have been trying to contact AUCar since January via e-mail & whatsapp with no luck at all, they responded once asking for info I already provided in my original communication, then a couple weeks later someone else responded asking for the same info again but they have been on full ghost status for weeks. My unit is full black screen non functional every day and will only come on after a reset approx 15 mins after being powered on...

So if you download the SiriusXM app you would still need the module? I would think it would just stream like as if you were listening on your computer?
I have the app on my phone and can listen through my vehicle using bluetooth.

Thats not what I was referring to I was giving him a different option as well as if he wanted to be able to use it without his phone, as he stated cell service wasn’t all that good, so yes it would stream from the app using your phones data plan or you get the module with its own separate antenna for a signal more reliable.
