you're right, no one will agree. rangers are a weak comparison to the tacoma imo i've owned one and my dad has owned three. None have made it past 115,000 miles without needing MAJOR work (motor/transmission rebuilds)

if you want rubber floors, rip out your carpeting and line-x your cab. can't believe people lean one way or another about vehicles based on things like the interior flooring materials or how many cup holders there are. The tacoma is a far superior truck over any other small pick-up in terms of reliability, longevity, durability, resale value, etc etc etc...

    I LOVE MY TACOMA

LoL at the people in here bashing the Frontier - its actually a pretty decent truck. It has more HP then the Tacoma, a fully boxed frame and the option for a factory sunroof and leather interior. Plus it could be argued that the interior is nicer and more refined then the Tacoma.

If someone really did not like the Tacoma, the Frontier would be the second best choice in my opinion.

Having said that, the Tacoma looks way nicer overall (subjective), and has a better reliability track record.

I agree that the Tacoma looks a lot better.

I think the best looking midsize trucks currently available are the Tacoma, Dakota, and Z71 Colorado/Canyon. But I would definitely not buy the Colorado/Canyon, and I don't think the Dakota is supposed to be all that reliable either (just based on reputation).

I had an 08 Frontier Crew Cab LB 2wd 4.0 liter.
I had reprogrammed, highflow muffler, TBS, and CAI. I was getting 20 MPG local and up to 25 MPG HWY. It had plenty of power for me. It rode well and was comfortable. Then I went to trade for a 2010 but they did not have my config. I was talked into a 2010 Suzuki Equator (Nissan in a Suzuki shell). I was able to transfer everything but the programmer would not work. It also had a shift issue it could take 20 mph to change gears after getting on it. Nissan had the same issue. I was not happy and frontiers had the same problems. So now I am in a 2011 tocama and love this truck.

They were probably trying to see how far they could go to the left of the slash.

    It was pretty funny.

i like the Frontier Pro-4x alot, the only thing I dont like about is that there's no sliding back window and 4 door version back seat has no room at all!

I currently have 06 KC Frontier. It's been a solid truck with absolutely zero issues. Of course you may ask why am I on a Tacoma board....well a couple of reasons. One I plan on trading for a double cab Tacoma at some point. Do not like the look of 4 door frontiers and I need room for my daughter. Then of course my service manager at Nissan is a horses @ss and I will not buy another vehicle from them as long as he is employed there.

Certainly looking forward to making the switch and of course the aftermarket parts as well.

well done sir, sounds like you like the dc taco better to begin with but nothing quite like the feeling of voting with your $$ against crap employees

I was so aggravated with him that we traded the wife's Altima for a Camery. I almost left the dealership with an 09 Tacoma but it was 2wd.
