Consider yourself very lucky, thank your parents profusely, and do your best to be WORTHY of having such a generous gift bestowed upon you by them. Most 18 year olds would (justifiably) kill for a new vehicle of any kind, let alone the best 4x4 on the market.

More importantly, so does the law, assuming Dad's name is on the title, which I imagine it will be.

Well considering the rain alllll the time in Oregon, I would probably go with Red. This is coming from someone with a black taco. Trust me, they do get spotty from the rain, you will especially see it on the hood scoop if you get the Sport, and it drives me crazy. But black is by far the fastest color.

I bet the dealer will give you a nice free set of swirl marks if you buy a black one
I love how black looks when it's new but unless you really maintain it it will look like crap within a year
Red looks great on the sports

I would seriously consider talking to your Dad about this and have him putting his name on the title. I dont know how you are paying but he should take out the credit and you should be a cosigner. But regardless, I would highly discourage putting your name on the title.
