Well I decided to test drive the Ridgeline. (I'll keep my Tacoma) The Honda was very very quiet and smooth from idle on. Much more pick up then the Tacoma when in Sport mode Econ off.
I felt like I was driving a Mini Van lol. Smooth quiet, and great acceleration. Interior is plush. Power Seats are nice. The motorized rear window means nothing to me. Did I say it was smooth and quiet? LOL Like everyone predicted, It rides like a large SUV

The one I would have bought would have cost $42,000 nearly $10,000 more than I paid for the Tacoma OTD!!! Not worth it even if I got the $33500 I paid for the Tacoma in trade. No rear door lock, no rails, $1000 for the bed cover.

Although I have some issue with Toyota and the Tacoma. Not bad enough to give up $10K, Rather use that for a fun toy.

I can see where they would fill a niche like the El Camino did, but not for anyone wanting a pickup. I've been in pickups for over 25yrs, guess that's why I got a taco instead of a car.

I believe its built on the Pilot platform. So is should ride like a minivan/SUV

Wrong. It's a truck plain and simple. Quad cab with mega room. Very comfortable. Has more payload rating than a Taco. Faster than any other mid-size truck. Not only is it a truck, in just happens to ride like a car. Best of all worlds. The only thing it won't do is tow more than 5,000 lbs. and crawl over rocks like my Rubicon. It far from an El Camino and it's certainly not a car.

My buddy got the new ridgeline, traded in his old one. We have beat the hell out of it with towing and hauling shit in the back. Wouldn't bother with it on trails but it is absolutely fantastic on the road.

Also, front end is ugly but looks better than 3rd gen fully tacoma
