Test pipes

I know it's a pickup and not a racecar, but wondering if anyone has had their catalytic taken out and welded a pipe in the gap or possibly built testpipes for their 3rd gen(if so I need a set). And were/are you happy with the sound? What exhaust are you running ext... Thanks beforehand.

 

Yes, people are running the URD exhaust which deletes the 2 secondary cats. The primaries are still there though. Search for Spec-U exhaust.

 

Kill the environment for an unnoticeable power gain?

This isn’t 1976 when emissions equipment robbed a vehicle of all power.

 

Forget emissions, I’d be more concerned with hearing loss.

 

Only thing you will gain is “noise”

 

And carbon footprint.
