    So this happened.....20200507_182620.jpg

Hit a deer at 65 mph. Set off 6 airbags.
    20200507_182602.jpg
    Didn't even spill my coffee.
    20200507_182758.jpg

Leg airbag put football sized bruises on both calfs. Steering wheel bag put a dollar sized burn on my left forearm. You guys that have guns mounted by your right calf... Can't stress enough how bad if an idea that is. Been two weeks and my calfs are still bruised.

So what do you think? 2019 2wd sr5. Totaled or not. I already know. So you butts that want to say ask your insurance cango read another post.

Not totaled, but a bunch of money tied up in airbags there. Glad you are ok!

None yet, that’s why I’m here.
Glad you’re okay, aside of some bruises and burns...

Can’t see much damage to the front, but many others have hit deer and no bags went off. That makes me thing your front end damage is worse than it looks.
Combine that with six airbags deployed.
My vote is total loss. The airbags were the straw that broke the double hump horse’s back.

Sorry about your truck, at least you weren't injured too bad. To be honest, looking at your picture, I'm surprised it deployed every single airbag.

Found her napping on a dirt road. Her airbags did not deploy.

Glad you're ok. Maybe the pictures are deceiving, but the damage doesn't look real bad. Surprised it deployed so many bags.

Hint... Total loss would take $19,000 in damage. Does that help?

I recently had someone back into the front end of my truck and do similar damage so I have a pretty good idea of how much the front end could cost but the 6 airbags I am not sure about since my truck was parked when it got hit. Imleaning towards yes just based on the airbags.
