Is there a way to test the cruise control actuator to see if it’s malfunctioning? My cruise control doesn’t work, it never has since I’ve owned it. It’s a 2002 3.4 auto 4x4 xtra cab. The light comes on on the dash, but otherwise there’s no response. The brake switch seems ok, fuses good. I can buy a used actuator (88002-04020) on eBay for $150, but I figured I’d see if there’s a way to be sure that’s the issue before I drop the coin. I have a bad tendency to throw money at problems and not resolve them.

Remains to be seen I bought the tires and wheels the rest came along
There are so many inputs to the cruise control ECM without the correct Schematic for your your 2002 I would not want to even guess . With the Schematic I would trace every circuit.

I never used one so never worked on them but to remove the parts.
