    Just found out my wife's work schedule has been changed again. She was working five 8 hour days Sunday thru Thursday. Now she will be working four 12 hour days Wednesday thru Saturday. This sucks.

    The facility didn't have enough staff to keep all three shifts correctly staffed so they went to 12s to resolve some of the staffing issues.

    getting more and more likely i could get called up to do some sort of work assignment to cover striking workers job.

    I have a buddy who is in that strike. He isn't real happy about the whole thing but says he will stick to the union position.


    I really don't understand it all; but I don't really believe in unions either.

    Yeah, from what my buddy was saying if a guy crosses the line and doesn't have an extreme situation at home he is pretty screwed when the strike is over.

    I brought that up and he said it is just in how they are treated/handled when the strike is over. My old neighbor was non-union up there and he said he was pretty happy to not be union.
