Galveston or New Braunfels (or even Padre)?

Simmer down, for every person that answers a question there has to be someone who asks it. Even if you don't know the answers, you learn by asking and observing. 99% of Tacoma World is not about helping solve truck problems; that was TW long before any of you and I were here.

    Well, Goodmorning

Thanks for all the help guys, hopefully I'll get my priorities straight and figure out what I need to buy first
Either new HU for the truck, bestop, or a bow :p Summer paychecks FTW :woot:

I think I missed a shit ton of derp in here last night :pout:

EDIT: Also, my problem with compound bows is it seems to be all or nothing. I've shot a handful of times at a range and to me it seemed like either you pull it all the way, or it aint going to work. Recurve you can fire from different points to get different # numbers.

    Am I right on that?

    that place is the shit

you are right for the most part. Those Oniedas I mentioned and actual Bowfishing bows (barracuda, fish hawk, etc) have 0%-20% left off so it feels like you are pulling back a compound bow so you are able to snap shoot them from any point in the draw.

Padre wasn't great when I've been, haven't been to Galveston, but it would be pretty hard to beat the original.

Galveston is new and Padre is about 10 years old. There may even be more now.

Like I said, New Braunfels is the only one worth it anyways (at least since I have been). I went to Padre one when it first opened about 10 years ago, I know they were planning some expansion that wasn't open yet.

I think those are all encompassed in one place called Schlitterbahn. They have all of that.

I like Galveston as much as New Braunsfels. Galveston, when all the ghetto people aren't there, is pretty great. They have a covered section for when the weather sucks and it's opened year round.
