    I've dropped mine in the drain pan before... thats a fun dive.

    Be sure the oil has cooled off before reaching your hand in though.

    still though, the guy got major props from everyone for actually fessing up to it, learning experience. I'm sure it stopped others from making the same mistake. haha

    I just use the oil filter adapter for my Harley. They are the exact same size and it connects to a 3/8" wratchet set.

    Then you should have no problem. I don't when I pop the oit filters off mad asdf (sorry, my wife just got naked). Back on track. When I use my HD oil filter adapter it goes over the end of the oil filter and unscrews it with no problem. What problem are you having exactly?
