    IMO
    You should take out the part at the end about only people who would seriously consider purchasing them. You are asking for opinions of the masses but only want to know what the people are willing to buy think. Otherwise you might as well take custom orders.

    You should just ask in general what people prefer and why.

    Well that is where you ask their reasons why, and you just weed out the ones that don't really seem too interested based on their response. Even if someone
    may not be currently in the market, you'll know by their response if they are potential future buyers.

    My opinion, most people would prefer functionality and a good price over looks.
