    she was uninsured. yall both agreed it was fine. not much she can do. the judge will ask her why she didn't call the police and why she is trying to sew you when she was breaking the law by driving with no insurance?

    I highly doubt she is paying the attorney. He is probably some bottom feeder attorney who "doesn't get paid until you do" and thinks he can scare you into taking it to your insurance company. From there he will push for a settlement and make his cut.

    That is why I firmly stand by the rule that if I make contact with another vehicle I call the cops. I hit another woman once - and feeling I was in the wrong - I called it in as I got out of my truck. She found out I was calling the cops and jumped in her car and hauled ass. She got pulled over a couple blocks later and then arrested for fleeing the scene (releiving me of laibility) and arrested for her warrants.

    Edited for the reason I hit her: she was parked uphill in a parking lot and her car slipped out of gear. It rolled into the street where I hit it.

    Adam, don't take this threat of her attorney's letter lightly, especially if your on your parents insurance plan. What's happening to you right now happened to my sister a year ago. Make sure your parents know everything so they can help you out. Just looking out for you man, I don't want some stupid broad to sue you over some bullshit charge..
