You know it is true; but it would probably be only a 5 minute ban.

do yall think a front replacement bumper would look retarded on a dd/street/highway truck at stock prerunner 2wd height?
i'm trying to decide between just a ranch hand grill guard or a full replacement.

just needing some good deer protection w/ all the highway miles i drive between san angelo, austin, and dfw.

yea, if you got pics, that would be nice.

would be nice if someone sold a full replacement like frontier and ranch hand make, but seems like most if not all are more designed for offroad rigs.

Get an ARB. Best option for deer and it would probably look better than the others on a factory truck

dont forget that if you get a full replacement bumper you will need new springs/shocks to handle the increased weight

I'm gonna have to disagree with that unless you get a winch. ARB is what 130#? Shouldn't be that big of a deal...it might wear out the struts faster but then you could just replace em with some stronger ones at that point instead of before

i'd at least get the 5100s and set to .85? or 1.75? w/ stock spring and that should work for a while. maybe make it roughly level. havent figured out which springs i'd need to get if i needed to replace those too.

have you not noticed all the tire and skid marks ahead of where he is going on these videos? sure, he is a great driver...but this shit is stagged and he runs the courses plenty of times before they make the final cut. run it 20 times and use the 1 best shot. Edit them all together and you have a sick video.

alright guy im about to place an order from ECGS for an ARB 3rd. the fucking idiots at the shop dont know what they are doing long story short.

only question now is what gears should i get in it?
i can either stick with the 3.73

might be able to get the 3.90

    out of the 4.10

or i could really step it up to the 4.56

    opinions?

they told me that ARB doesnt make a locker for Tacomas

they were convinced that i had a 10 bolt diff(they counted the studs holding the diff to the 3rd and not the bolts on the ring gear) and not a 12 bolt

they cant order the right parts

they dont know how to press in bearings.

my truck has been there for 12 days and they havnt done shit

That doesn't sound like them at all. Maybe you are talking to someone who is new there?
