Im pretty sure they cant say shit if you have one in your car.

^this relates to buildings that are off limits for carry i.e. schools, court houses, ect..

for CHL holders, unless the building has a sign posted with the TX penal code 30.06 it is fair game. places that have signs that say "no firearms allowed" dont mean shit. It HAS to have the 30.06 sign. Parking lots are fair game.

a thread talking about 30.06 for anyone interested

I don't understand what is wrong with firearms on campus in my vehicle as long as it's not in plain sight, not loaded etc. I'm curious as to what the fine is for having one.

Birthday's tomorrow so hopefully I'll get a few bucks that I can spend on reloading supplies. Need to buy a couple thousand bullets and some more primers.

Also found out that my truck should bring more than what I thought. I figured 24k would be a good figure. Now I'm thinking the least I will take is 24.5k but will push for 25 or 25.5k. Probably going to wash it and clean the inside for pictures so I can put an ad on craigslist this weekend.

    im down.

we were digging for change in my truck when i look behind me and there was a group of ghetto black people checking me out and eyeing the shotgun i have sitting in between the driver door and the driver seat. i knew that if if i left my truck there i would come back to a busted window and a missing shotgun. i had enough sense to get back in the truck and drive to a different area to park and hide the shotgun under the back seats.

2010 Ram Quad Cab Sport edition. It's 2wd, has Nav, Sirius satellite, leather, heated/cooled seats, heated steering wheel, sunroof, pretty new all terrains, tint, alpine surround sound, and probably something else I'm forgetting. Has 58,000 miles and is in good shape. Paint has a few scratches on the bed, inside is almost perfect.

Hoping to get enough scholarship to offset most of it. It actually isn't much more expensive there than it is at Stephen F. Austin State. I am also applying to SFASU and Oklahoma State.

Kudos to you for looking at colleges outside of the state you live in. Seems like less and less people do that these days.

Thanks, too many Aggies, Longhorns, and Tigers here in my opinion. My family is from the Florida panhandle and Alabama area, and I want to move to that side of the world. Cost isn't a huge factor, if I remember correctly, SFASU is around 20k and MSU is around 26k (if I get past out of state tuition it's around 19k). My dad and I did the math on a spread sheet a while back. I have visited both and feel more at home at MSU.
