Every time I think about starting on the plate I end up not going up there for two or three months. I looked for you a couple times last night and I guess either I didn't see you or didn't recognize you. We ended up moving outside when a table became open.

I went to the Motley Crue/KISS concert last night. The Crue still put on a good show, but KISS was awesome!! :rockband:

The problem with reloading .223 is that it is so cheap NIB. The reloading cost vs the bought cost isn't a big difference. Unless you already have the reloading equipment it isn't worth buying everything to reload just .223.

Pistol ammo is cheap enough to reload that it makes pretty simple financial sense. Reloading rifle rounds doesn't really pay off until you are shooting almost $1/shot ammo.

One of the reasons I started reloading for my .300 WM was the cost. The second was that I can have a better round for my rifle at a cheaper cost so it made sense all the way around.

An electric smoker... something about that just seems strange; but if it tastes good I don't care.

The buy-in is a bitch; but it will pay itself off in around 10k rounds or so.

Dude... you should have called me. You are going to hate life reloading pistol rounds with a single stage press. I have an RCBS Partner Press I've been using for 5 years. It is a great press and does a really good job. I will not reload handgun ammo on it because it will take too damn long.

The single stage will be a better choice for rifle rounds; but reloading pistol ammo with a single stage press is like masturbating in slow motion.

    It takes forever.

I use my single stage for my rifle rounds and am going to pickup an affordable progressive for pistol ammo.
