    my hands were too big and the space between the bed and cab was too difficult to get the fiberglass into without it getting everywhere.

    So i just used some rubber spray stuff.


    I plan on getting some L brackets and drilling those on there just for extra protection.

    just two layers of fiberglass on the front and then a good 3 second spray of the rubber stuff all along the back.

    looks like there are air pockets in there. if possible sand flush if air pockets found. mix resin with fine clippings of class clothe. paint resin mix on. sand smooth and paint.
    wear mask when sanding. the fiberglass particles you breath in have hooks and will never leave your lungs. if to much trouble to do right; your quick patch should last for a bit:)

    Yeah, there's a definite air pocket right where the crack was. But it should be fine with those extra brackets.

    What exactly is going on? A shop can't put it on the scanner and tell you what sensors are/are not working? Probably cheaper than replace-a-part mechanics.
