    Yeah.

Since neither you or another buddy of mine could go, I left my house at 9. Hopefully we'll get there around 5ish.

Just moved from Oregon to Texas, Fort Worth specifically. Haven't met many people as I have yet to start work. Anyone familiar with the area know of a good fishing club I could join? I would really like to learn how to bass fish but am unaware of the gear needed, what lake to go to etc. If anyone wants to meet up for a bite to eat/drinks or just recommend a few places to venture out and visit I would appreciate it.

There are some nice private lakes in Aledo that have tons of bass.

    Welcome.
X2 on texasfishingforum. Bass fishing is actually winding down about now but with the warm weather it's still going for now. You can still have luck during the winter but fishing is much slower.
I'm a little out of the loop on places to fish since I spend most fishing time at a buddies private lake. If you want to trout fish there is a really good place about 4 hours from here in Oklahoma. Beavers Bend to be exact.

Also check out American Bass Anglers. I joined this year along with bass master and fished a couple tourneys as a co angler. Pretty fun. Caught my biggest fish of the year while prefishing a tourney the day before.

Nice. I just got new tires so no rotation for a few months.
About to mow the yard for the last time of the year.
