I've never seen someone with such terrible luck with tacos...

Not this year , I'm going to the Montreal race again next June and might see if I can manage the Austin race as well

General admission may suck , it does at Montreal , not many good viewing spots

My Montreal Grandstand 2 weeked passes were $675

 

Yeah, I don't know enough about engines to know either way, but I wonder how the 6's will affect the sport? Are they supposed to be just as fast?

That's what I figure, GA isn't worth the $500, not to mention hotel & travel costs. For those who know Austin, it has horrible traffic as it is, I can't imagine even driving down there for it.

 

The engine spec is for a turbocharged V6

They will most likely begin as a bit slower but that speed will likely increase as the engineers tweak the cars

 

If it doesn't lose too much power, I may drop one of those in my Tacoma

Either way, the cars are amazing, I hope I can one day (afford to) see a race in person; let me know if you try to make it down for the next race.

From my experience at the race last year , there are two things you can't grasp or fully explain without being there and they are the Speed and the Noise

 

I can only imagine; although obviously different, it's the same for NASCAR, the experience of being there vs. just watching TV isn't even representative of the cars' abilities.
