I've been debating getting back to blasting ducks next winter after I'm done with my college classes. It all just depends on if I can find anyplace around here that I can. I see the ducks all piled up on each other in the rivers but they are all either restricted or on private property.

It is actually quite horrible. Good duck hunting weather is cold, windy, wet, and freezing. Nobody in their right mind would be outside; much less balls deep in water waiting on a duck.

Dang; now I'm thinking about it even more.

This was the first year I really got into duck hunting and I have to say I enjoyed it.

No matter what your hunting, its always better on the private property right next door. How it always is...

I hunted ducks with my cousin (much older than me with decoys, dog, and boat) my senior year. After I went into the Marine Corps I never really had time for it again. Think I might try to give it a shot again next year.

The hardest part of duck hunting that I remember is finding a good recipe. :D

Keith - I have been drinking off my Live Oak Hefe clone today and it has now been graded "pretty good" by three people. I know I need to make a few changes; but I'm happy with my first attempt. Also, my wife moved her Raspberry wheat to the secondary. So far it is coming in at 4.3% ABV and has a nice look to it.

Her beer; her choice. I'm glad she is brewing with me instead of giving me crap for brewing.

That beer doesn't look like a bad choice; my only question is will it still be "winter warmer" season when it is ready to drink? The brew club is looking at doing a Stone Arrogant Bastard clone from AHB next month. We'll see how it turns out.

Ever tried a cream ale? We brewed one and it was good enough that I have a kit I'm going to try to do some time this week.

Well my dumb luck I'm buying a FJ or getting a new Taco. Dealer offered to trade me staight across same payment and no money down. Manager told it was a Toyota exchange program. Really like the looks of the new front end on the Taco, but have always wanted a FJ. Guess I'll find out tomorrow. Anyways my Satoshi grille and projector headlights are going up for sale. Will get some pictures soon.
