Have you seen the way varmint grenades act in ballistic gel? 6" of penetration max. Bullet pretty much explodes after 2". walls should be able to stop such a fragile bullet pretty well. I doubt it will penetrate much more than a 9 or 45. I'm not saying its the best choice but that's what I'm using. 00 buck is going to blow threw walls too...

Either way I'm not getting a 45. I don't want to pay for the expensive ammo. Maybe eventually I'll get a 45 for home defense but that's not what I'm really looking for right now

    Fair enough
I'm looking to eventually get a 9mm for concealed carry. I'd probably get a 1911 for home defense though. It fits in my hands and is easy to grab so I'm not fooling around in the middle of the night.

Never realized how many people out there have guns.

Everyone except me..but that's going to change real soon.

I'm still shooting my dad's guns. When I turn 18, I'm going to buy my own deer rifle and then start saving for an AR. Then when I'm 21, hopefully I will have money saved up for a 1911 and a 9mm concealed carry.

I'm not real sure what happened in here last night. A lot of talk about double penetration.

    This.

I can understand why someone in the military would think that 5.56 is not good for HD. The reason being is that they are limited to the ammo they use. That being M855 and Mk318 because that it will NOT break up upon impact. Read
That would probably be a terrible round for HD if you are worried about over penetration.

Its all about the ammo you choose

Did you wake up sore and head spinning? Last thing you remember was talking double penetration and then taking a sip from the drink the guy across the bar bought for you.

I wasn't involved in any penetrating activities last night, or alcohol related activites. Good and bad to both.

Lots. Will do a write up shortly.
Is anyone here qualified to make a satoshi grill on a 2012, or know someone that is? I'm in the DFW area. I know homer taco makes them but he doesn't do them for the 2012 or 2013's. Thanks

Not sure if this is what your looking for, but it seems way easier to do then the other way. It also looks great IMO.

I've done a ton of research on them and just don't feel comfortable attempting this mod myself. I don't want the tacoma letters or bend. I just want the mesh grill color matched to my truck. I'd rather pay someone to do it right then attempt it myself and it look bad.

I understand how you feel. I would not be comfortable doing it myself either. Good luck with your search. Sorry I'm no help.
