Going to be cutting it close. I'm hoping to have my rig on the trailer Wed night so Thurs night is all about the camping/final stuff.

I was able to get some preventative maintenance done this evening. Grease the driveshaft, checked diff fluid, checked engine oil, tightened some nuts that have rattled loose, cleaned empty beer cans out of the back, and and cleaned the windshield. Also unhooked the empty propane tank so I can get it filled this week.

Gonna be a busy week. I have Monday and Tuesday night free.

That's not needed. Stay tired. So you fall asleep after a couple beers, sitting around the fire Friday night. You and Randy can have a race to see who passes our first.

It's clear and purdy here, I wouldn't mind a bit more rain for the lawn though.

Actually I think it would be awesome to have a field-turf lawn, just a really good one isn't cheap and still a bit of maintenance.

How much resale value would it add to the house?

I would imagine the ROI is not anything, because of two factors:

    1. A lot of people would probably prefer a nice regular lawn

    2. It would be very tough to find someone to feel a house is worth an additional $30-50k more because of a lawn

Not to say these people aren't out there, but you are talking an extremely small target market, you would have to find just the right buyer.

For those unclear, ROI = Return on Investment

Tire Questions for people who buy their tires at Discount:

I am getting new tires (same tires as previous) BFG 265/75/16 either All Terrain or Rugged Terrain

    1. Do you feel that the replacement certificates are worth it on a beefy tire? Why?

    2. Has anyone ever had to use it (or would of if they had it) and what happened to the tire?

I'm thinking of just saving the cash now, because it is $150 (70% cost of a new one). It is ultimately just like insurance, but based of my past experiences with these tires, it is money down the drain.

I believe it might be popular out where Keith is b/c of the desert climate. Must be pretty hard to maintain a grass lawn in those conditions.
    Worth is subjective.
    Never had to use one.
Sweet. Did he armor all his wheel wells?

Of course....and the frame too as you can see lol

Truck looked good though as a "total package". Just a shame there was that much body lift on it.

Even there, there are much cheaper alternatives, out in Phoenix everyone has rock lawns:

Don't get me wrong, if I had the money I wouldn't care bout the return. Which is probably where you find more of those lawns, places where people have money to burn and don't look at as a home as an investment.

This is my thought too, and if I ever had to, it is about $80 more at the time (total $210). It's one those things, if I don't, shit will happen.
I was hoping to find if someone ever actually had a problem with a tire?

You would have to, with that much of it showing, it has to look good too.

    Stickers. Lots of stickers.
Coming from the guy that works there, I've seen it save some people a lot of money. It's just like any other insurance: nice to have when you need it, but if you don't need use, it is just money wasted.

There are people that buy it that never end up using the replacement warranty, but in my opinion, it's better just to have it. I got the warranty on my duratracs just in case, so I don't end up spending another $250 for a tire
