    Hard to tell from the pic. I don't usually believe anything they recommend since they get paid commission on they work they sell. Just like when they say the fuel injectors need to be cleaned.

    Are they squeaking yet? Then I say no. They have the little wear bars built in that squeak to tell you when they need to be changed.

    And kinda sorta but not really. They can squeak just from dirt and crap getting in there. Easiest way to tell is pop the cover off and see how thin they are

    I haven't had one for 8 months now and no issues. Even sat and talked to some border agents about my bumper for several min. They asked if I had ever been pulled over for so much of my front tire being exposed. I said something about no front plate and they didn't even bat an eye.
    I guess it just depends on the officer and situation.

    I went without a plate for almost 2 years, got pulled over 3 times without a ticket. I was running a plate bumper and gave the same excuse every time, "I am waiting on a weld on bracket and it's going right on"

    As of right now there is no penalty for not having a front plate. They forgot to add a penalty last time they redid the laws. So its illegal but they can't punish you for it. Lol.

    But no I've never had an issue
