    I figured out what my first project in welding class is going to be.

    I'm gonna make this tailgate for my truck but instead of the ram, I'm gonna cut out a plate the shape of Texas and put it on there. And inside of the Texas I'll do a decorative outline of the Lone star.

    Only thing I'm trying to come up with is a way to mount it. Do I try and have it pull down like factory or do I do a swing out type deal?

    Any input appreciated

    Just joined here. Looks like I missed the fun the other weekend out at TORR. Hopefully I'll get a chance to wheel with yall out there or at HF sometime in the near future.
