    Nailed it. I don't like having dents in my truck. I already have my fair share of scratches and that's enough "character" for me. Its still an every day driver, and I like it to look good.

    So I figured out my cb tune problem! When I soldered the connection for the wire, it wasn't good enough so it wasn't making a connection with the radio. Fixed the solder and now my swr is finally out of the red! Time to fine tune tune it

    Well, just kidding. I went out to fine tune the antenna and the swr wouldn't stay constant. Depending on how I hold the swr meter, it would be 1.2 or all the way at 3. I got mad, ripped the connector I soldered off and while I was trying to clean it up, the iron got too hot and melted the connector so now its completly screwed up beyond repair. Greeeeeeat. This is so damn annoying. Now I need to buy a new connector and idk if they sell just the connector alone. I don't want to end up with a new coax cable in addition to the one I have already. I'm about ready to throw all this stuff in the lake!
