Stop for today and get at it a different day. This is when you stop because this is the point where things start to snowball

Bring it over to my place and I can help with the install. While we are at it my antenna could use a tune since I lost my swr meter.

That's what I used the cb as at first! All you need is come coax cable, an antenna, and an antenna mount. Then an swr meter to tune it

Antenna wire, antenna mount, ground for the mount unless you use a non ground plane wire and that should do you.

CB's are really easy to setup, but I only used the PA function on mine for the longest time.

Even the hand held ham radios are bad ass. I used Sean's in Big Bend and clarity could not be beat.

$350 to fix what? I think somebody is pulling the wool over your eyes. I dont know of a single part that cost $350 to replace. But yes this was a complete roller chassis that i put my upgraded parts in. Titanium gear servo, 35t motor, 3channel radio, bead locks and R35 ripsaws. Thing is gonna climb a wall as soon as the damn post man brings me my wheel hexes so i can mount the wheels.

Christmas has been survived; now to decide what I want to get myself. I'm debating between a cutting torch and pistol. I have a few pistols and no cutting torch right now. Anyone have any experience with the Hobart torches they sell at Tractor Supply? I'm not looking to cut 1" every day; more like 3/8s max on a semi-regular basis.

Id say with a good clean tip that it would do just fine for that. Most just never pay attenion to it or use it as a chipping hammer. One if the little portable Victors are nice but not sure in price difference.
