Yeah I really don't want to be giving up any more money that I have to. He went out and bought a welder thinking he was going to be jumping right in. We are still working on this big fence project and we have been having him help is. I th in no our mistake was not telling him how much we will pay him. I think he's expecting 1/3 but their is no way I'm going good to do that

    oil change...

Before I joined the air force I was doing some construction clean up. I was getting paid X amount per squar foot cleaned. I hired my best friend and told him I'd pay him 7.50 an hour to help me ( in 2005). He kept asking how much I was getting paid and I would never tell him. I paid him for what he worked and he thought he was getting ripped off somehow :notsure:. It messed up our friendship for a while.

We used all my equipment, my truck and trailer, my tools... He just had to show up.

I don't think you were wrong. You told him how much he would make. He agreed too it.

Exactly. Generally they do not see the diesel, fuel, welding rods, chop saw blades, or any of the other 1000 expendable consumables on a job site. They just see the $$$ and want some.

So I found a picture of a ct70 like mine with black wheels. So what do y'all think? Paint them black or leave them original? I'm not sure if it would kill the kinda "classic" vibe I get from it. The first picture is my actual bike.

They do not have many pictures of your old truck. Think we should send them a few that we have?
