Too poor to list anything interesting.

But I don't think that the entry level Lowel light kits are too much.

The edit took me maybe 5 minutes. But that was 5 minutes after doing a couple hundred photos in the two main photo editing software programs that I use (Lightroom and Nik Collection). Mostly do landscape and nature shots, so it's fun to change it up sometimes and work on something different that can take some different editing looks.

Some of my Automotive / Aircraft / etc photography (including a few of CMan's TX Baja): https://picasaweb.google.com/102637182371352471338/PhotographyLandSeaAir#6023284785051046434

Oh, and I'll be happy to serve as event photographer, or even try to get a DFW/N.Dallas/etc meet up going just for truck photos. Been trying to find decent locations but haven't found much yet.

Edit: I looked through your album. Cool shot! Have you been to the flight museum at Addison airport? And, that tr6 is so sexy...mmmmmmm

MatthewMay1 - a number of the shots in the album are from the Addison aviation museum, some others are from the Evergreen Museum in McMinnville Oregon (PM me if you want a link to more from there including a Pano shot of the Spruce Goose). My dad was a pilot for many years, so have more than a little aviation running through my veins. Would like to get my licence eventually, but till then planning on making it to a few airshows this year (still need to figure out when to see the Thunderbirds this year. Close friend of the family is flying Lead Solo #5 bird this year!!!)

The TR6 was cool, just happened up on that at Oak Point Nature Preserve one trip over there. Never know what you'll find there.

    Hahaha

And Cuda- I didn't recognize the Addison museum because I've never been to it even though I work in the building next door. Haha. I need to go. It looks like they have some sweet toys from your pics

Spotted this outside the LA Fitness in Keller. The dude that drives it is a total tool. Sketchy. e25df9b1730d699b4aaa4a9c171a5da7_b13306752493010813c89ea8ed537b37b498c001.jpg

Speaking of the Addison airport, what was the big gray Boeing that was parked down there this weekend? Almost looked KC-135 like from the tail but couldn't get close enough to make out any tail numbers or insignia. Military 737 maybe?

Let me know when you might go, been wanting to go back for a while, got a new camera and a couple new lenses since that should handle the dark hangers a lot better than the old setup.

Not sure. I don't work on weekends. I do know that there is a new gray 737 that lives right off the taxiway now. You can see it from the building I work at. Never seen a KC135 there, but it isn't impossible! They fly in Blackhawk helicopters every now and then

The 737 is probably what I saw. Just know it dwarfed every other aircraft I could see, it was difficult to tell scale from my view on Midway - and was definitely a Boeing style tail. The KC-135 is a military tanker variant of the 707.

tex - good sunset. Didn't get out this evening, waiting and hoping for some good skies this weekend. My be a bust for riding, so maybe I'll get a chance to get out with the camera.

-- have we successfully hijacked this thread with aviation and photography talk yet?

There are 4 trainer 737-100s, with the old engines, stationed at Randolph AFB. If it was a shorter 737, white on top and gray on the bottom, then it's a T-43 navigation trainer. If it was white on top and blue on the bottom (and about as long as a Southwest 737), then it was a C-40 Executive Transport.

Was anyone from DC in town?

I know a guy who flies kc135s for the air guard I think. You probably saw the newer 737 on the airport
no, I think I know which airplane he is talking about. There are one or two 737-200s on the airport and just this past year a newer model moved in. Looks to be a -700 maybe. I'm not positive. I just know its a newer model. I'm trying to find a picture

Look at the inlet cowl if it's round it and has one (on each side) over wing emergency exit door its most likely a -700. -300 and -500 cowls are flat on the bottom.

Oh yeah, duh. I forgot the newer ones have the rounded inlets. That confirms my thought if it being a -700 then! I knew I had a hunch!
