I've been once and didn't have any trouble. It was after a little rain, so everything was slick. Just gotta know how to choose the right lines and you'll be good.

It's about an hour or so for me also, thinking of going when it cools down a bit. Need to get my OHV sticker and 1" shackles in the rsar so I don't bottom out a rear shock.

I need to get back up there once the heat breaks. I want to check out my new 4Runner.

I hear ya about the cooling down a bit.. I'd also have to get the sticker. Not looking to do anything too crazy right now, as it is my daily driver, but I'm sick of pavement and I'd really like to make use of the new tires I put on. I miss living in NH a bit where I didn't have to look hard for a bit of mud!

If you need a spotter for that first hill you might need to practice at the mall some more.

If you get up there early it's not too bad, you can head home when its heats up.

Yeah, might have to do that. Could probably be home before the wife even gets out of bed. It'll be a few weeks before I can get away however.

But pay attention out there or you can end up places that will break your truck. This drop redistributed the paint on most of my armor.20150822_114914.jpg

Yeah, that's the stuff I can't get into at the moment. The truck is still mostly stock (still under 5k miles).

That video was exactly 5 years ago. A lot of the trails have changed due to rain run off. That was my black Tacoma, @Balockay with his green 1st gen, @fsbrain03 with the silver ext cab, and @ItalynStylion with the blue double cab.

Curious what it's like there after the 100 year flood we had this year. Would make a nice fall weekend trip out there.

The quarry is full of water as of two weekends ago, the road barely clears it. But the rest of the park is pretty dry.

Yes, that park has changed a whole lot! So much of the stuff I went on with the Tacoma back then, I wouldn't even risk in now. There's even plenty of it now that gives my 84 a challenged.

I believe next weekend they're having night wheeling.

    Hey my video!

And I think @KPT (though he's not active anymore) with the white Double cab.
