    Recovery took two hi-lift jacks.
    A winch anchored to a Land Cruiser and a tree.
    And a tow strap anchored to a TRD Pro 4Runner

    I had no troubles with 31s and a mechanical LSD in the rear. 33s would be better.

    You must have had a good spotter, I had to fight it for awhile but I was trying to keep up with Ryan and didn't stop to consider a line before plowing up it.

    Yes.
    The first ledge Ryan spotted me up the left side. On the second ledge, I dropped the truck on the TRD Skid plate (which was not made for such things). Adjusted my line, and rolled on over. I think I clipped the front drivers side spring mount on the way up.

    4wd to 2wd conversion
    33s are fine for HF and yea a locker always makes trails easier but open diff is possible(I did it). But full skids are needed for sure. Especially gas tank skid. Lots of sharp rocks.

    Speaking of gas tank skids. I wonder if my tank would have survived without my skid in place.
