    That's good to hear!

I just put in a set of FJ mirrors tonight. Man, they're a pain! So much more trouble than the taco mirrors. Hell, half the problem is getting them to pop back into the housing.

    Yes.
I found using popsicle sticks to be a very efficient way to keep the mirror from snapping back in while trying to remove the original glass.

Lol, maybe I should include a few with the kit. :D

Getting the mirrors into the FJ backing plate was interesting. There's only one way to get them in. Putting the backing plate/mirror combo back into the housing takes patience. The lower clips don't want to go back in easily. I ended up using a flathead screwdriver behind the mount to keep it from pushing too far into the housing.

Plano is where I had my frame replaced. It hasn't fallen off yet, so I'd say the mechanics are decent enough. Haha

I bought my truck from Toyota of Dallas and my wife's 4Runner from Freeman. I probably got a better deal on my Tacoma, but the sales experience was way more pleasant at Freeman.

I don't get a warm fuzzy feeling from Toyota of Dallas. Got my '08 from Plano. I knew people there in sales and finance. Got a deal. Now, I don't know anyone, and this has been my experience so far:

? Seems pretty average to me. You may be thinking of the last girl. Tammy Dombeck. You could prop them up with some poles like an awning

I bought my 4Runner from Toyota of Dallas. I was less than pleased with the buying experience there but will continue to buy from their parts department. All said and done they made good on the sale of my Runner. But there was too many games and not enough communication. Also the finance guy was really sensitive. Just me yelling at him made him cry. Pussy.

Their parts dept sucks. They are unfamiliar with any pricing other than list.

Their parts department is trdparts4u.com isn't it?

Double checked, and yeah, it is.

TRDParts4U is great. Their prices on OEM parts is some of the best I've found. Especially local. Which is good because my Tacoma eats tie rod ends and CV boots on a daily basis it seems.

TRDParts4U is ok, depending on what you are purchasing. I was referring to their retail dept, which sucks. On quite a few parts I've asked about, they don't come off list.

TRDParts4UU and the standard parts counter are not the same department at the Toyota of Dallas. Ifound that out the hard way a few months ago. I will give the parts guys credit that they made the sale right by me but I had to get hostile to make it happen. I do what I can to avoid having to go back.
