Thinking about doing a spacer lift. Don't off road much and when I do, it's not hard core. Looking for some extra height and larger tires.

As long as its not a drop bracket lift, whenever you do order one and decide to install, hit me up. I live around Tyler and have installed 4-5 different suspension lifts on my own truck and even a drop kit one time.
If its just a couple people we could have it knocked out in a few hours. If its a big group then it'd probably take all day with all the BS-ing that would happen lol!

Let me know whenever you're ready and I'll come help ya out and we can install it in your driveway. I'll be off work from mid december-mid January.

Thinking about going with a pro-comp or revtek 3/1. What all kind of tools do I need?? Just the standard stuff?

For a spacer lift? Yep. Just basic sockets and wrenches.

    Easy peasy!

Lift truck, remove wheels, unbolt coilover(IIRC they are 15 or 17mm), unbolt upper control arm from spindle(17 or 19mm) , remove coilover, bolt spacer down onto CO, reinstall it all back together. Then take it to get an alignment the next morning.

What about the rear? How hard is that to do?

Don't feel like I'm in Texas out here in El Paso, more like southern New Mexico or northern Mexico. Anyone know any good places near here to test out my 4WD? Not really into sand dunes, but more technical and slow stuff. Stock truck with street tires but I got through lots of stuff in Colorado that surprised me. Only thing that worries me is my ground clearance, tires and ripping off mudflaps and bumpers.

Block lift? Ehhhh. The rear can suck lol. Do you have an impact? Or air compressor? The nuts usually don't like to come off the ubolts by hand.

Lift truck, put a couple jackstands under axle, unbolt u bolts, slowly lower axle down on to stands, place blocks in, lift it back up and put it all back together.

Gonna need new ubolts ahead of time since reusing old ones is a no no.

Whats average installation time of the following setup? And what would be a fair install price by a shop? Or anyone in the area with the right tools to do the job?
    • 5100s x4 with ome 887s preassembled
    • 1/4 taco lean spacer
    • Light racing UCAs
    • 1.5" rear block
    Located in DFW
