I wish there was some suspension tech here who could give a definite answer to this, because I've read that both would help. In my head, it seems like it'd need to be done in tandem, both shock and spring.

Upgrading your shocks is always going to be an improvement, over just coils. Most of your damping will come from the shock. The spring simply serves as secondary absorption. Look at a car with worn out shocks, how it just bounces. You need the compression and rebound damping.

In certain senerios, yes upgrading both at the same time would be ideal. However, for me, jumping up from a 590 coil to a 620 would not give me the desired ride. It just isn't that big enough of a difference. (So I'm told.) Also, this way I can get a better ride while keeping my CVs happy.

Got my suspension squared away finally. (was waiting for some front shock bushing hardware to come in that I ruined on my install last saturday) Still missing one rear shock hardware kit that was missing from the shock box originally that USPS is taking their sweet time on getting to me. (no big deal the original hardware is in good shape even after 100k).

I just stopped by Firestone for my alignment. I had good luck with the new one by my house for my wife's Camry. They did a much better job than the Brakes Plus I took the truck to a few months ago, fucking tools (tried to tell me I didn't have adjustable cam bolts on the LCA to do the alignment properly) Toe'n'go pieces of shit.

I would never take anything to brakes plus, I've heard to many horror stories about them.

Yeah sometimes I don't always listen to the smart little voice in my head that tells me not to do certain things.

OK, gotta ask, no offense meant..............Was it your CHL? :D

This is based on how shitty postal carriers are with numbers. Have ended up with mail from several streets over not just wrong house on same street although that goes on way too often as well.
