damnit. i've spent the past 2 years getting away from carbon.

thinking about using a couple of the OME spacers out back. that'd be 20mm.

    i'll just ask here...

do spacers preload springs? i'm considering this a 40k mile temp solution...is there any reason to not do something as simple as 2 of the OME spacers? or a 1" Cornfed? wish someone out there made a reasonably priced 1 - 1.5" spring that was slightly stiffer than stock.

the word "spacer" makes me think of the shit kickers in high school rolling around in their 86 Chevy on 35s, with the Copenhagen can hanging from the rear view mirror.

    3inch toytec coils 5100's, aal(soon to be replaced), 33/12.5 km2s, + a money hole...
Mine sits like that as well 8f35b7d8af08114377ee4dc914f9941c_af4277a62fdc946a43e2a5994ffcf8e14f1e0814.jpg
I have fj trail team bilstiens front and rear with a daystar 2.5 inch kit
The fj struts gave me an extra half inch of lift up front. Now I clear 295/70/17, but at I'll lock I'm pretty close to my body mount.

Strangely enough, the numbers are pretty close to level at the wheel well with my bike rack on. Measured using a plumb bob and straightedge.

    FD - 36.375 (3/8)
    FP - 36.75 (6/8)
    RD - 36.5 (4/8)
    RP - 36.875 (7/8)

Removing the rack brings up the rear 1/8 to 3/16".

So 55lbs over the back is good for about 3mm of sag.

Any of y'all longtime Georgetown dwellers? Came across some trail while out exploring on my bike yesterday. Off of Scenic. Kinda wondering if it goes West to that land over by Wolf Creek. I was looking for, and found, single track that had been ridden by a moto, but also followed a jeep road that might've simply been a city maintenance road.

Can someone get the measurement of the width of the yellow billies off their truck? Im debating if I want to lower my truck but I have 5100s. Need to know if i can buy a lowering kit for the trd billies and if it would slide right on the 5100s... Also does anyone have their stock springs laying around?

I've been working on this for a little bit now and finally did it. The behind the grill 21" light bar on a gen 1 Tacoma.
    It took
    Long bolts
    Spacers (pvc pipe)
    Self fabricated brackets (simple stuff)
    Time.
    Patience.
    What are yalls opinions?
I'm not a fan of the valence light bar because it's behind the license plate. And I don't like on top of the bumper it looks like braces.

CBI ditch light brackets might not be here until early next week so those might have to wait a few extra days.
Rear lights will be mounted like working lights. On the bed up by the cab.
I'll show pics as soon as I get them put on.
