    Not too sure - It was the first time i sat in a 3rd gen. And i only sat in there for a minute or two. But i did feel like it had more room all the way around. But sometimes the mind can play tricks on ya, especially when you want to believe something....TBH i really really like the interior on 3rd gen Tacomas.

    Me, too. It's almost on par with a 4Runner.

    Not really. But the 3rd gen interior felt marginally better than the 2nd gen. The one I sat in didn't have sunroof, either.

    The shell is the same. New dash, new seats, new door panels, console is narrower for more hip room in front seats, etc

    That's what I understood too. The design is the same, but materials have changed. The concern I have is my 2gens don't have a lot of head as is, so what's it like with a sunroof. I'm 6' and I was just wondering if anyone roughly my size has been in one and speak to this.
