So I'm coming down for River City Rockfest on Sept 22nd. Weather says upper 80's. Has anyone been to the AT&T Center in SA, know how hot it gets? We're coming to see NIN and my wife can't handle too much heat. How quickly does it cool off in the evening?
Also, where should we park? I'll be in the Taco and would like to not have anything missing when we come back to the truck.

I know it's a lot of questions. Thanks.

If you get there about 6-7, it’ll be in the mid-high 90s. If you get out about 10-11, it’ll still be in the high 80s. I’d park near an exit way. You may have to walk a little further but you won’t be waiting forever to get out. You should be good with the truck there, I’ve been several times and never had a problem. I’ve never uber’d there but I’d imagine they would have to drop you off quite a ways from the entrance.

Moving this off the classified thread.

I’m a machinist by trade, and am in a position where some of the stuff I make for internal use requires welding. We have a welder, so I get to learn on the clock; I wasn’t hired into a welding apprenticeship or similar.

See I’m a welder by trade. And I don’t ever have down time to just run beads or practice.

I always see kids get in this field as helpers cause people tell em to learn in the field but then they never get time to practice.

It takes a year of school. Roughly. Depends if you’re the lazy type of dedicated type. To learn how to be a decent welder.

Then you’ll never make below $25/hr easily. That’s bottom of the bottom.

In my opinion it seems like a wiser investment to just goto school and learn how to weld where you can really focus and get good at it cause it would take a lot longer to learn by practicing in the field an hour here and there.

Okay, that’s fair. I’d probably be a better welder if I had a class, too, but then I’d have to pay for it, versus being paid my machining rate lol.

I can make metal stick together, and grind/polish to make it pretty.

Yea but it’s one thing to learn how to run beads. Roots. Hot passes. 2G,3G,4G,6G.

    Mig, flux, stick, tig.

All that takes a lot of time and practice.

I’m still learning and I get paid to “practice” every day lol.

Really depends on your job too. I don’t know of many jobs that will let you practice for hours.

Yep, I have a small Lincon and less small Miller that I use. Both wire. Miller has gas. Lincon does not.

Both make metal stick together. Meh.

Gotta be able to make it fuse. Not just stick.

Tudor Black Bay Black. It was purchased NEW at an AD 7/16/2018.
This one has the in-house movement, loses about .5 seconds per day. If you’re looking at this, you likely know about Tudor, therefor no other factory info is needed. Will also include Tudor’s fabric strap that is now only available seperately. Will also come with all boxes, links, screws, booklets, warranty card, and sleeves.

There’s a couple very faint hairlines on the 9:00 case side, a scratch on the brushed portion of the 1:00 lug down toward the bottom, very difficult to get a picture of, and I think there’s a desk diving mark on the very edge of the clasp. Not 100% sure on that one as sometimes I’ll see it, and sometimes it goes away. Just assume there’s a dive mark there.
MSRP: $3,675, I will sell mine by wire transfer or M.O. for $3,050 shipped. - $2,900 Local pickup in DFW
