He had his lower spine infused. After 15 years in, the army let him go. Said they dont have anything he can do in there

Yea... heard that they are getting pretty stringent with med issues, unfortunately.

Good thing is he will have a “pension” for the rest of his life and can move onto something else.

I guess that's one way go see it. He was wanting to stay in for 5 more years to retire.

I havent needed a 4x4 to look like that. Most people in TX dont know how to drive in ice/snow so it always looks like I'm hauling ass.:anonymous::burnrubber:

I think everytime it snows, the majority of the vehicles crashed on the ditch are awd or 4x4s...

That is because driving in snow is one thing, driving on ice is another. We get ice here. Having spent 5 years in Canada and 12 in Colorado, I can tell you that driving on snow up there is not the same as driving on ice here in Texas.

Experience > 4wd. False confidence from 4wd will get you every time.

Ice sucks. I have driven on a fair amount of snow and have a house in Durango. Ice is a different game. I liken snow to driving on gravel. My 80 series Land Cruiser is great on snow. The Tacoma is ass light, but decent in 4wd. I have 6 buckets full of sand that I anchor in the bed if it’s really icy and I have to go out. Staying home is the better answer.

People where I live can't even drive down the street. My specific drive has a 25mph speed limit in a neighborhood of 30s
