You should come down to McAllen... Thousands of Tacomas, yet none of them (including mine) have any significant mods like armor or good lifts.

 

I'm taking the family to Port A for the week of 4th of July to play with the taco on the beach..haven't been farther south then that in years.

 

I go to Corpus with my dad to work mostly every Friday during the summer.

 

I was stationed there for a few years in the early 2000's still fun to drive back every year. I think Port A is way better than Galveston and I want to take the taco on the 4wheel drive beaches for the first time.

 

You were at SAS Corpus? Going there for Wings Over South Texas Air Show... Wanna see the Blue Angels again. First time I saw them was at SAS Kingsville.

 

I was. I was in a squadron of H-53 helicopters. Lots of traveling and riding in helicopters... fun times

No, I did five years and then took my new found skills to the outside world.

 

That's cool. I'm thinking of joining the military. If my Border Patrol or Texas Highway Patrol dreams don't work out during or after college, I'll join the Navy.

 

Best decision I ever made. If your single go Navy. Married or close to it go Air Force. My suggestion is to find some dream job you would want/like to do in the civilian world and make the military a stepping stone to achieve those goals.

 

I was also stationed there, Ingleside on the USS Inchon from Jan 02 to May 02. Spring break was magnificent.

 

I hopped on the USS Bataan in Ingleside on summer 05 just before Katrina hit. I was impressed with that side of the bay. Wish I could have spent more time on that side.

 

Ingleside was a decent base. Security was tight as fuck.

 

I noticed that too! Way more tight than any other base I visited. You could stroll into Norfolk with a full blown cow costume on and they wouldn't blink an eye.

 

Ingleside was an EOD base

 

Ah, that makes sense then.. I was preoccupied when I visited. Loading up on a LHD and all.

 

does anybody know a place local to austin that sells 1/16" abs plastic sheets?? Gonna add some waterprooof speakers to the cubby holes like in the picture.
