    This.

You know when a Mexican joint is good when there are tour busses parked out back full of Mexicans come up to shop.

It’s here, but people only go there for Baja Blast and diarrhea.

If you want bomb-ass tacos, you hit up one of a hundred Taquerias scattered throughout town. If you’re in a hurry, you hit Taco Cabana.

Brisket tacos only have one TRUE home - Valentina’s. Come visit and we will take you for the Real Deal Holyfield.

Too many places for great enchiladas to count.

And don’t get us started on pizza places or breweries.

    Shit.

    Now I’m hungry.

Bumping this argument, CA mex and Tex mex cannot be compared. After coming to terms with Tex mex, they each have their niches. The biggest struggle still is that burritos (common mission style of CA) are cheaper and for me more filling.

On the other side, TX tacos cannot be beat. I enjoy typical street tacos (especially lengua, tripa, cabeza) yet, unable to find them in Austin.. pls chime in.

Respecting the given culture is the first step in understanding flavor. It is the time, sweat, and tears that carries flavor from one culture to another.

You can have a preference, (not directed at Chad) but, appreciating food is appreciating culture.

damn that was a shit storm

I was itching to spend some dough on the truck, a new grill I've been eyeballing.

Nothing cures that itch for retail therapy like a $600 child-care bill. Fuck me lol
