    That was before the headers i think and i changed from the 10 series to the 40. I like the interior noise when i get it to about 4000rpms.... it really lets loose and growls

    I plan on jumping under there with a hacksaw.... ill be under there putting my hitch on anyways. I always liked dualed at 45's but then i got them and i dont wanna crush them :(

    I think im gonna try to make some chrome dumps :cool: I did it on my z71 but i had more room to play with on that thing

    EDIT: i know it sounds kinda cheesy but it looked pretty cool on my last truck

    anyone know the specs on the 05-08 trd sport differentials??

    i believe its the 3.73 lsd 8.4" 30 spline, but i just want to make sure. i am gettin ready for 4.88s and the guy thats going to do it wants to know what it is stock before giving me a price on everything.

    The TRD's had the 8.4, but i believe you can run a 8in carrier. you are correct with the 3.73, and 30 spline though.

    make sure to check up on the carrier tho. call east coast gears, they helped me out alot.

    yeah im pretty sure you can run the 8" carrier. because if you want a locker it comes for the 8" carrier, but im just goin the cheapest route and just doin the 4.88 ring and pinion

    East coast gears will probably be cheapest, but when i started caling around if you can pull the carrier yourself you can save atleast 2-300 bucks just taking it to them to get everything switched out. My gear job was easily gonna be 1500 bucks :eek: The master install kit is more than the gears themselves.

    i know a guy that will do it for dirt cheap. he gets really good discounts on gears and will charge me almost nothing for labor. he just did my friends 4.88s front and back for 500 bucks, thats including labor:eek: i know toyotas parts are more expensive though, so im waiting on him to give me a price

    Tacoma dualed out with 3 1/2in tips
    Tundra dualed with 3in tips.

    Take the tacoma tips put them on the tundra.

    Chop the exhuast on the tacoma at the axle and put the 3in tips pointed down after the axle.... I had it on my z71 sounded good and looked kinda cool when you look underneith... i have to look and see how much room i have under the tacoma though.
