reason? w/ a steel bumper on those 885s and taking off the top plate spacer i would be under 2.5" most likey and not over extend anything but bumping them up to .85

It would be interesting to see how stiff that makes the ride...

I'm game whenever/wherever. As for the burning half the tread - I'm going to do some tactics tweaking on some little stuff that is local and get a portable air compressor. Also, I'm currently looking at a late '80s 4Runner that already has the off road wheels... so my Taco may just be a pull vehicle now.

That depends on how long it will be before Tolar is open. If it is going to be after the summer I think I'll find myself back at Bridgeport before then.

So I just threw together my wish list as it stands...

    Weather tech floor liners: 169.90

    UWS toolbox: 347.50

    5100’s: 299.99

    Avid light bar: 325.00

    ATO rear bumper: 755.00

ATO skid plate (still open to options): 284.00

    New tires: ~800.00

Sliders (still open to options): ~400.00

    Exhaust cross over reroute: ~80.00

    Aero exhaust: 174.00

    So, I'm at ~$3635

    Anyone feeling generous?

And that is why I went shopping for a trail rig.... that same money could get you a cheap 4x4 to really bang on. Not trying to knock it... but money is money.

The Facebook page of "Rock Trails of Tolar".

Looks like parts of it will be 2WD friendly and the rest will be pretty sweet!

From the owners (assumed): We are shooting to open the first week in June. There will be a founders run that will be a closed event for those who have contributed to the trail cutting on June 18. RTT's way of saying, "Thank you" for all the hard work in getting us ...open. In the next couple of weeks we will be posting a great deal of information and releasing our website that is complete with the exception of trail maps. We are quite excited to get the park open. We hope that it will be a place that continually exceeds your expectations.

If they get open in mid-June we could do a Juy meet over there. It is less than 15 miles from my house so I could try to do some scouting if anyone wanted.

Here is their website; although it isn't launched yet. http://www.rocktrails.com/

Looks like it is going in on Coleman Ranch Road between Tolar and Paluxy. I think I know the guy's daughter that owns/owned the place.... :) Let me do some checking and I'll let everyone know tonight if I can.
