I see an EPIC fail in the near future. Can't wait to sit back and watch it unfold.

I drove the 4Runner around and did some little climbs and steep climbs around the guys place. The little truck handled like a champ and went right up the backside of a little dam without missing a beat straight to the top. It was kinda odd wheeling with a 4x4.... think I could get used to this!

Only reason we had to pop the hood was to put a battery in. Once it was in the little truck started right up. Last time it was cranked up was during the ice storm.

It is an '87 4Runner with the 22R-E motor. The top comes off like normal and the only "thing" with it is that the back window doesn't go up for some reason. The motor tries - it just doesn't go up.

The rear window not working is typical of the older 4runners. We have an extra motor if you buy it to test.

Appreciate it - when I get to that part of the truck I'll let you know. Right now I'm going to focus on maintence type stuff; get it back up to par for hard use. Any tips on good sources of info on the internet?

Thought about it - but this truck was cheaper than a locker. Besides, I can thrash this one and still get to work on Monday! I do mean thrash. :D

Cheaper than locker + install... $500 out the gate. :D But it does need a battery.

True - but I would have still been wheeling my daily driver and that didn't get me any points with the wife.

This way I get to have another toy that can be dual purpose for a third vehicle incase our of our's goes down and a wheeling truck so as to not tear up my work truck. Win/Win I think.

Well - I'm headed to bed; it was a long day that ended with a new toy. Overall not bad - but I have to repeat the first part tomorrow.

The guy has a couple of other 4x4s for sale - what are you looking for? This guy is crazy how he just finds cars and trucks. People know he will buy most anything so he gets alot of different cars and trucks.

Get lockers! Lockers are kinda like 4x4 compared to 2wd, for a 4x4.
