Hey guys I new here and from the houston area (Sugar Land). Heres my truck. Just ordered some piaa 520s today and need some advice about the grill. I HATE the chrome. I used the search function and seems like all I need to do is sand it down (4 different grades), prime it, and repaint it black. Im going to cut out the center piece and maybe DIY "satoshi" it. what do you guys think? Thanks in advance for any advice.....Van. Anyone wanna help a newb? =)

If you haven't looked into the grill craft inserts I would suggest taking a look at them. There is also a few members that have painted their housing on the headlights speedway blue, just a suggestion.

    The truck looks awesome btw

Yes - it never happens to you until it happens to you. Sad to see it, but the guy isn't a victim in this situation.

Sounds like a slow day; enjoy them while you can, I'm sure they will give you a chance to earn your money soon enough.

Do they pay a shift differential? If so that isn't bad. The power plant I worked at didn't pay for the shifts so it sucked working nights.

On a brighter side for my 4Runner - I see 33s in my future! After doing alot of research I have found that 33x12.5 rub the fender pretty badly and need a lift or cutting for clearence. But, 33x10.5s don't rub the fender or frame - meaning I don't need a lift! I can spend the money on a locker instead of a lift!

Blake - I got my ass chewed today by my doctor. Apparantly the antibiotics I am on make a person sun sensitive. She wasn't impressed that I spent Sunday outside. So I probably have another week on antibiotics now...

I had a bunch of friends at school out there, one of them teaches in Lufkin now. What are you studying?

I was going to go there if they had an engineering program, I hear they have some pretty crazy parties over there though.
