Yep... still sucks to be you.

All that and he still wants $700 for it? I'd have him drag it out of the trees and then negotiate the price. There is no telling what it will take to make that thing trail ready.

Even if it needs more work, you are still starting a build with a solid front axle, short wheel base, and efi. Nothing but pluses on that list. If it doesn't work - upgrade it!

I know what you mean, I love my truck. I am working on saving up some cash for a bike. Just something easy to get around town on...

Any particular reason you don't want a cheap motorcycle to ride back and forth on? Cheap maintenance, good way to relieve stress, and mpg is amazing.

Like this guy... I wish I could ride my bike to work.

Idiots are everywhere. I have always kept my head on a swivel, plus I normally don't travel during rush hours times.

Very true and really good advice. I keep my head on a swivel, check all avenues of approach, and try to avoid peak traffic. IF I get stuck in heavy traffic I either gas it to get ahead of it or slow down enough that the large groups pass me.

I do that even in my truck, I hate being stuck in groups of traffic. Freaks me out.

Heads up. I have some 2nd Gen front seat covers for sale. They are not mine - I'm selling them for a friend. He wants $80 for them and I would prefer someone close so we could do a face-to-face exchange. I looked them over really close and only found one spot with a slight discoloration which probably could be cleaned out and a small spot where a screwdriver caught the cover. I have the seat covers and matching headrest covers. So - who wants them for $80?
