    Really? even with the off roading; how many miles do you have on your tires?

    While that gen looks tough, they were not known as the most fuel effecient or dependable thing to roll out of Detroit.

    I'm voting no in this case.

    IF I had to go with a Dodge I would get a newer one. The Mega Cab has some real room in it, almost enough for a pool table in the back seat.

    more leg room for me atleast, pretty sure its a bigger cab its just not a double cab

    My current boss had a '99 I think (not positive on the year) that went through three rearends. He used it as a daily driver about 7 miles each direction and never hauled what couldn't fit in the bed. The rearends would just get noisey and fail after about 30k miles. Around 75k miles it became a rattle trap with the noises from the back doors sounding like there was spare bolts inside the doors rattling around. The handful of times I rode in it I remember it being loud. He was so impressed with it that he took a beating when he traded it in on an Avalanche.

    My grandmother had a '97 that would not keep an alignment and eventually had to have the front end replaced. She liked the truck and it pulled my grandparent's camper well; but it just didn't drive well due to front end problems. She bought the truck with less than 1k miles on it off the lot.

    What part of the vin? and thats okay, the 5.2 318 is a strong motor from what i heard

    Almost witnessed a 5 car pile up today on the way back from Lubbock. Lady just stopped in the middle of the road after she hit something with traffic behind her. Traffic on both sides of the road, people behind her had smoke from their brakes billowing everywhere, and a dually was barely able to pass her. We stopped, and she was like what did I hit?

    My brother in law works at a primary school. His first morning working there, he saw a kindergarden teacher drive into the parking lot and put a Walmart grocery bag over the truck balls because of the school atmosphere.. A female kindergarden teacher to boot..
