I just finished up cutting/banging/wrenching on the 4Runner. The sway bar is no longer part of the team and I have to sweep out the entire garage again. I have to quit playing in the mud with that thing!

For now I need to head into work for a couple of minutes to swap a backup tape. BRB

    Pics of 4runner :D

What's holding me up is school and work. Next weekend I work saturday, and then we're wheeling Sunday. Then next weekend is Tolar. We'll see, but I don't think it'll be ready.

On my 4Runner it is really hard to notice any difference in the picture. In person you can tell it sits level now; maybe a little high in the rear since I dropped the spare. It is for the stock tire size... like that will work for my 33s, lol.

As for your 4Runner... work/school kinda kill the fun stuff. So what is still holding you back on the 4Runner?

Not too much more, just cutting the rest of the IFS brackets out, which are a PITA, then cutting the holes in the frame, which is double walled for the shackles tubes. Mounting the leafs and axle, and dropping in the motor and making sure the fuel pump is good.

    So basically nothing left :p

Drop in the motor? Yeah.... sounds real easy when you type it real quick, lol. Give me a few weeks to get over the hump in my classes and I'll come up and give ya'll a hand.

They do look damn good. :D I dropped the sway bar today; figured I spend way more time on the trail then the road so I'll take that little bit of extra free travel. Hopefully I did enough banging and cutting today to clear the fronts completly.

Why not wheel it one more time on Sunday and put it up for sale on Monday?

Don't worry guys... don't forget he is indecisive. He'll change his mind.

    Good.

One of the guys I work with had an FJ all geared out for the trails. He took it in for an oil change and drove off with a brand new 4Runner. He says he likes the 4Runner; but misses his FJ. His deal breaker was a baby. He said he needs the rear seat space and the FJs is hard to reach.

If you find a white FJ it will probably be a 08 trail team with the e locker.
What year range are you looking at? Didn't some earlier models come with a v8?
