Yeah, it looks more like rough spots in the smooth surface... its not bad though. Like I said, it hides well.

Yep, if you don't like it, peel it off.

I had the wheels you have, so I bought the upgraded wheels just so I could plasti-dip them.

I would have to look at it in bright enough light to remember.

Its a more flat black, which is what I like.

It held up to the snow well. As you can see it was packed in the wheel and didn't hurt it.

I think I read your question wrong... If done well it smooth to the touch and appearance, not rough like bed liner.

I've wondered how plasti-dip will hold up on the chrome.

That's the thing with plasti-dip, think of it more like a rubber stretched around whatever is painted.

When I trade this thing in for a TRD that's one of the first things that has to go though.

I have a feeling it'll peel off easily on that smooth of a surface, but I won't find out until Friday

you know i was thinking about plasti dipping the edges on my rear bumper, the part where the bumper ends cause i have alot of rock chips there and maybe spraying some on that little area will help reduce it

    You don't want to know...

I would be worth trying. I think you would have to tape it off, spray it, then peel the tape off wet. If you waited until it was dry, you would peel it all off.

Once you use it a little, you'll see how it acts. Its not paint, its rubber.

I will say it has held up well on my badges though. I wash it by hand, and the brush still hasn't peeled it off them yet.
