    College Basketball > NBA...But I would watch more NBA if the rockets didn't suck too :(

    On a sidenote, I can't wait til baseball season to watch the Sugar Land Skeeters play.

    I think moving the Astros into the AL West is a tough move for them. Right now the Rangers-Angles are a tough combo to get around. With the Astros records for the last couple seasons it will be a real shocker if they are a contender within the next couple of seaons.

    I am looking forward to the Rangers/Astros battles though. They will be even more heated now since they will count for more than bragging rights.

    Personally, I think the Rangers/Astros rivalry will become heated and be closer than people think. Just saying.

    Cheaper tickets because nobody goes to the games. A buddy of mine went down there for the Astros/Phillies games and he laughed that there were more displaced Phillies fans in the seats than actual Astros fans. That is a real bad thing; but maybe having the Rangers come to town more often will help put the Astros back on the map. :D

    Give us a few years. This new owner is addressing a lot of problems and bringing a lot of excitement to town. Not saying it will be quick or easy but we will put ourselves on the map in 5-10 years. About the same time that the Aggies will have a winning football season in the SEC.

    Not a real fair comparison if you ask me; the Astros can sign contracts for much longer periods of time then the Aggies can hold a flunky back from graduating. Either way I hope the Astros become a serious ball club. It will be interesting to see what having a 5 team division will do the to the AL West.
