    Just checking; I knew an AJ in school who is now in Houston somewhere. Figured there was a 1 in a million odds but it was worth the bandwidth to ask.


    Don't knock the PreRunner; mine was quite impressive/scary out there last time. Good driving and aggressive amounts of skinny pedal can get you places.

    Had to buy a $30 oil filter wrench from Toyota to take this cartridge out... Could have gotten one cheaper online, but I needed it now.

    I thought the same at first, but it actually turned out to not be that bad. There was a little nipple drain thingy that you poke up into the housing (see pic) and it drains all the oil out of the filter assembly. Then the whole housing comes out and there isn't really anymore oil to fall out every where.
