Here is our downtown. Most of the buildings are vacant. some have a few offices in them that are being used.

dress up like zombies. walk around downtown. the first year we took donations and raised $1100 for our local humane society. the 2nd year we added a 5k run to it and we raised like $6,000. $1,500 was donated to our local red cross and the rest was donated to our downtown developement fund.

here are some pics from it. me and a buddy were zombie wayne and garth the second year

students dont have money to spend. go anywhere in this town and the majority of people you will see out eating or speding money are airmen.

haha thanks. the first year it was just thrown together a month in advance and it was only me and my wife running it. last year we had a bunch of people helping us. we had a medical team. we had a group taking care of the 5k. a group selling merch, tshirts, hoodies. Lots of vendors selling stuff, food vendors. It was a lot of fun!

The run was at night and there were two groups of runners. the Survivors and the zombies. the survivors got a 1min head start! it went through alleys, into a parking garage, through an old warehouse! there were cop cars and fire trucks parked out with their lights and sirens going off at the start of the race!

My brother used to live in San Angelo. He loved it out West. Said there was always something going on. If you get out there and hate it you can always relocate. Never know unless you try. That job in Colorado will be a huge career jump if I land it. On the down side I will be a long ways from my girl that was just born. Got go where the money is now days.

Damn Keith. That's soon. You gonna be able to sell your house that fast?

Would you still come out to a Bridgeport meet?

Thankfully my company is buying my house if it doesn't sell in three months.

I'd definitely come to Bridgeport if there's a seat for me in someone's rig.
